Before joining the bar, Fontanne read international law at NYU with emphasis on cross border commercial disputes and crimes. She also interned at the United Nations International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals.

 

Fontanne is developing a broad civil and commercial practice. She has been involved in cases concerning company, injunctive relief, insolvency, trusts, land, probate, family, as well as regulatory and white collar matters.

    • [2025] HKCA 1010 – successfully resisted the company’s application for an appeal against the first instance decision (as sole advocate).

  • Zhu Jun & Ors v Associative Reserve & Ors – successfully obtained proprietary injunction and receivership application for the Plaintiffs (HCA 1458/2023) (with Mr. Ernest Ng).
