Stephanie is developing a broad civil and criminal practice and has experience in trusts, probate and estate administration, mental health application, criminal, judicial review, bankruptcy and arbitration. Stephanie joined Chambers in 2025 upon completion of pupilage with Mr. Kenneth Lee, Mr. Patrick Wan, Mr. Au Lut Chi, and Mr. Albert N.B. Wong.

Stephanie majored in Philosophy at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she was awarded various scholarships and prizes. She subsequently obtained her Juris Doctor degree and PCLL from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

HKSAR v L.Y.T. [2026] HKDC 688

  • Acted for the Defendant with 3 charges of indecent conduct towards a child under the age of 16 years in a 5-day trial and successfully secured full acquittal (with Mr. Marco Tse)

HKSAR v Chan Yu Hang (CACC 472/2025)

  • Acted for the 2nd Defendant to appeal against conviction of money laundering and apply for bail pending appeal (with Mr. Patrick Wan and Mr. Alan Au)

Re Estate of Wong Chuen Tai (DCCJ 507/2025)

  • Acted for the Plaintiff to claim for donation mortis causa/inter-vivos trust. Successfully struck out the Defendants’ counterclaim and resisted application to transfer the proceedings to the High Court (with Mr. Patrick Wan)

  • Acted for the Defendants in a substantive hearing to resist the Plaintiff’s application for two adverse possession proceedings to be tried before the same judge at the same time

  • Acted for the Petitioner in a creditor’s bankruptcy petition based on a judgment debt and successfully obtained a bankruptcy order against the debtor on the first Monday hearing before the Bankruptcy Judge
